About Star Wars Chick

I have been a fan of Star Wars since I first saw the movie with my parents in 1977. I was only 6 at the time. My brother and I were hooked and couldn’t wait to see what happened to Darth Vader as his Tie Fighter spinned away. I grew up with these movies, playing with the toys, and acting out our own version in our backyard. Little did I know that years later, it would become my biggest passion!

I got a renewed interest when my brother informed me in 1991 that there were some new Star Wars books out. I read “Heir to the Empire” by Timothy Zahn. I was so excited to find out what happened to Luke, Leia, Han, Chewie and the rest of the gang. This was actually the beginning of my Star Wars collection that I have today.

My interest in costuming began when I attended CI (my first convention) in Denver in 1999. I had no idea that there were people out there making and wearing their own Star Wars costumes. I vowed that I would have costumes for the next Celebration. I began to join several online costuming and prop forums which opened up an whole new world for me. Some of you may already know me as Mirax H. on the forums! And as you can see, my love for costuming has led me to make non Star Wars costumes as well. Now everytime I watch movies, I’m always thinking “how could I make that?” Well, I hope that you enjoy your time here and hopefully I can help open up a new side of Star Wars for you!

hey lady,
your pug outfit is so epic it literally made me choke on my drink when a friend showed me. just wanted to chime in and say it’s awesome that you’re such a true fan. i am as well, and while i’m more of a closet artist, (graphic designer by day) i finally ventured out and created an Etsy & a CafePress site to help spread some rebel or imperial joy however i could to fellow fans!

just wanted to say that you are made of pure awesomesauce! keep it up, and have an AMAZING Holiday Season!

I’m a fashion photographer and life long Star Wars fan AND pug daddy, a couple years ago you reposted one of my favorite photos of a model I shot wearing a vintage SW shirt and panties, Thank you again for that…

I am only now realizing that my favorite SW sexy girl site is run by the same person that is the mommy of my favorite SW pug too! Love Chubbs so much. His Kylo was absolutely amazing. I’ve watched The Wampug strikes back a million times.

Anyway, Just wanted to say thank you for everything, finding out two of your favorite things come from the same source is extra cool.

Also if you want a new sexy model in SW lemme know, not Cosplay, but I think you’ll like it 🙂 @jeffcohnphoto on instagram
